Applying for a grant
Anyone can apply to Kids Count Trust on behalf of an individual, family or children's charitable project or activity. Before investing in the time to apply, firstly check to see that your application meets the eligibility criteria - then you can proceed in completing the application form.
Ensure that all areas of the application forms are completed; this will increase your chance of being successful in your application.
The applications are accessed by a Board of Trustees who access each individual application and then make a decision on whether funding will be allocated. The Trustees bring a wealth of experience and knowledge of communities in West Yorkshire including charitable experience and awareness. This combination will ensure that funds distributed locally are just and fair supporting all areas of the community.
Support of application
In your application please provide a letter explaining in detail your project or child's circumstances and why the funding would make a difference. Where appropriate applications should be supported by a teachers, carers, doctors or consultants advice explaining why the child concerned would benefit from funding.
